在这个满是缅因小屋制作的藤与羊毛编织地毯和海葵彩绘画屏的空间中，艺术装饰的楼梯扶手彩绘着“天堂鸟”，在这个空间丰富多彩的夏威夷文化历史装饰中最具特色。

咖啡豆染色的地板，与“芙蓉”墙壁和挑高的高明亮白色搪瓷天花板形成对比。本地艺术家欧文詹金斯创作的雕塑，和海葵画屏沿着墙边摆放成一排，缅因小屋的柳条家具布满这个空间，开门走出去，就是俯瞰游泳池的阳台。花园的倒影和丰富多彩的内部装饰争奇斗艳。

光线将这个房间陈设和艺术的五颜六色，投映在具殖民地特色、高明亮白搪瓷的天花板上，是非常美妙的。

Living Room

The art deco stair railing painted in ‘bird of paradise’ dominates the colorful Hawaiiana decor in this space filled with Maine Cottage rattan wool hawaiian print rugs and painted screen with under water sea anemonies.

Coffee bean stained floors contrast with ‘Hibiscus’ walls and high gloss white enamel ceilings.  Sculptures by local artist Irving Jenkins and a painted screen of sea anemones line the walls, while painted wicker furnishings by Maine Cottage fill the space that opens up to the lanai overlooking the pool. The reflection of the garden is emulated by the color palette of the decor.

It is wonderful how the light reflects the color palette of the room’s furnishings and art in the  colonial, high gloss enamel ceilings.
